RIP Satish Kaushik: The country was stunned by Satish Kaushik’s passing. On March 9, 2023, the seasoned actor and director passed away from a heart attack while riding in a vehicle in Delhi. On Holi, Satish was at a celebration that one of his friends had organised. Now that we know, the farmhouse in Southwest Delhi where the party was planned had the Delhi Police show up. Several “medicines” were found. The comprehensive postmortem report will help the Delhi Police determine the precise reason for Satish Kaushik’s demise.

Delhi Police reaches the party venue

We have now discovered that the Delhi Police is waiting for Satish Kaushik’s postmortem report. Based on it, they will continue their investigation. According to sources, the physicians have not yet made any definitive statements. The actor’s heart and blood were preserved for future testing. In roughly a week or 15 days, the police will learn the whole postmortem report.

In addition, the Delhi crime squad went to the location of the party Satish attended just before he passed away. They found some “medicines” at the location. Based on it, more investigations will be conducted. The party’s attendee list has also been questioned by the police. An industrialist, who is supposedly wanted in connection with a case, reportedly attended the party, according to sources.

Nothing unusual has come to light about Satish Kaushik’s death thus far. The probe remains ongoing, though.

Remembering Satish Kaushik

Indian actor, comedian, screenwriter, director, and producer Satish Kaushik also worked as a producer. On April 13, 1965, he was born in Haryana. He performed in theatres before breaking into Bollywood. Throughout his career as a movie actor, Satish Kaushik is most known for his portrayals of Calendar in the superhero movie Mr India from 1987, Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana from 1997, and Chanu Ahmed in Sarah Gavron’s 2007 British film Brick Lane. The Filmfare Best Comedian Award was also given to him in 1990 for Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural.

Satish Kaushik attended Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi’s Holi party on March 7 when he was in Mumbai. Also, he posted several joyful images from the party. Anupam Kher told PTI that Satish Kaushik complained of being uneasy while he was visiting a friend’s house in Delhi. “He felt uneasy and he told driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am.” On March 9, in the small hours, Satish passed away. After that, his body was sent to Delhi’s Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital for an autopsy.

The funeral rituals for Satish Kaushik were performed on March 9 in Mumbai. Celebrities from the Bollywood industry like Sanjay Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Anu Mallik, Alka Yagnik, and more attended his burial. In the presence of his loved ones, he was cremated. They experienced intense emotion when Satish Kaushik’s passing occurred unexpectedly.

Vanshika Kaushik, his 11-year-old daughter, and his wife Shashi are his only surviving family members.
