Protestors near Colombo University have been tear gassed today (08 March). Protestors belonged to the Student Union of the Colombo University protesting against the tear gas attack at Colombo University yesterday (07 March) during the IUSF protests.
Police used water canons and tear gas yesterday to disperese the protests by the IUSF yesterday near the university, resulting in a tear gas attack against the Colombo university. An apology was issued by the Police to the university administration yesterday after the incident.
