Underworld gang leaders “Harakkata” and “Kudu Salindu” who were conducting criminal activities in Sri Lanka from abroad have been brought to the Katunayake Airport by a group of Criminal Investigation Department officials this morning (15 March).
They travelled to Katunayake Airport by SriLankan Airlines flight UL-142 from Mumbai, India at 07.10am today morning. A group of officials from the Colombo Criminal Investigation Department, Organized Crime Investigation Unit arrived at the Katunayake Airport air cargo terminal in about 06 vehicles to receive the two suspects. Strict security measures were deployed for the transport of the two.
