Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway box office collection day 8: Rani Mukerji has been acclaimed for her performance in the movie ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’. In the film, she played the role of a mother, who has to fight against Norway after her child was taken away. Based on real events, the film did well in her first week and the movie earned almost Rs 10 crores. 

Box Office Collection

On its second Friday, the film added Rs 0.8 crore (an early estimate) to its gross revenue, bringing the total to Rs 10.51 crore. The film had its Friday, March 24 overall rating of 9.74% on Day 8.

About Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway

A mother fights an entire nation for custody of her children in the film. Jim Sarbh and Anirban Bhattacharya also star in the film. The film was directed by Ashima Chibber and released on March 17.

The film is based on Sagarika Chakraborty’s autobiography titled The Journey of a Mother. Sagarika’s children were taken from her by the Norwegian Childcare system (Barnevernet) in 2011.
