‘Menstrual blood sold for Rs 50,000’: Woman levels ‘black magic’ charges against husband, in-laws

Pune Crime News: A bizarre instance has come to light in Pune, Maharashtra. On Tuesday, March 7, a woman filed a complaint against her husband and in-laws. The 27-year-old lady accused her in-laws of forcing her to do ‘Aghori Pooja’ with her menstrual blood.

A Pune Police official stated on Friday that a case had been filed against seven people, including the husband and his parents. A complaint has been filed for using black magic, including the usage of her menstrual blood, to torment the 27-year-old wife.

According to the woman, she has been subjected to such mental and physical harassment since her marriage in Beed in 2019.

Menstrual blood sold for Rs 50,000

According to a Vishwavantwadi police station officer, in the year 2022, the accused took the wife’s menstrual blood in a bottle because one of them (brother-in-law) had to take Rs 50,000 in exchange for blood from a woman who had no children.

Case filed

A complaint has been filed against the woman’s husband, in-laws, brother-in-law, and nephew, among others, under IPC sections 377 (unnatural offences), 354 (molestation), and 498 (enticing or putting into custody with criminal intent).

The officer stated that because the offence occurred in Beed, the case has been turned over to the local police for further investigation.

Compelled to consume human, animal bone powder

A similar situation was brought to light last year when the woman filed a complaint against her spouse and in-laws. She alleged that the in-laws performed Aghori Puja for baby. She was compelled to consume human and animal bone powder throughout this time.
