Indore Incident Live Update: 7 people died, 20 people rescued, operation continues

 

The death of 4 people in the accident in Indore has been confirmed by Commissioner Indore Police Makarand Deuskar. The police commissioner said that four bodies have been taken out so far, including two women. He told that the rescue is going on continuously. Right now it cannot be told how many more people can be inside.
Over 25 people fell into the stepwell after the roof of the stepwell caved in at Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Patel Nagar near Sneh Nagar in Madhya Pradesh’ Indore.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan took cognizance of the incident

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken cognizance of the incident. Shivraj Singh has called the Indore collector and commissioner and instructed them to speed up the rescue operation. The CMO is in touch with the district administration. On the other hand, on getting information about the accident, regional MLA Akash Vijayvargiya and former minister Jitu Patwari have also reached the spot.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the accident. He tweeted that he is deeply hurt by the incident in Indore.
