1. Saffron and Almond Thandai Recipe

Ingredients

To make saffron and almond thandai, 20 almonds, 10 pieces – saffron threads, 3 teaspoons fennel, 2 teaspoons watermelon seeds, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder, 3 to 4 teaspoons jaggery, 1 liter milk, 1 teaspoon rose water will be required.

Method

First of all, put a pan on the gas and roast and grind almonds, cardamom powder and watermelon seeds in it. If desired, almonds can be soaked overnight so that it can be easily ground in the morning.

After this, boil 1 liter milk. Add saffron threads to it while it starts boiling. Let it boil in low flame for about 40 minutes. After this leave the milk to cool down.

Now you have to add almond paste in cold milk. Mix jaggery and rose water in it and cool the milk again, for this keep it in the fridge. Now when guests come, they can serve cold thandai.

2. Bhang Thandai Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup- jaggery or sugar
1 liter – milk
15 pills – cannabis
1 tsp – Fennel seeds
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
2-2 spoons – almonds and pistachios
1 tsp – black pepper

Method

To make bhang ki thandai, boil the milk well.
Soak hemp seeds, almonds, poppy seeds and pistachios in a separate vessel for 2 hours.
Make a paste out of the soaked ingredients.
Sieve it with the help of a muslin or sieve.
After this, mix milk, sugar or jaggery and cardamom powder in it.
Keep it in the fridge to cool for about two hours.
Now you can serve cold bhangi ki thandai.
