Happy Birthday Kangana Ranaut: Blockbuster movies you didn’t know she rejected

Happy Birthday Kangana Ranaut: In Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has made great strides. The actress made her acting debut in the 2006 film “Gangster” and went on to star in blockbusters like “Tanu Weds Manu,” “Queen,” “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai,” and many others. Kangana has also abandoned a number of projects in recent years that went on to become enormous box office successes.

From Sultan to The Dirty Picture, here’s blockbuster flicks that Kangana rejected.

Kangana once told PTI, “Coming from a double role space and doing so much more in my earlier films, I didn’t want to demote myself to something which wasn’t offering me so much. That’s why I didn’t do it. Knowing today’s times, I’ll go for something which will stimulate my mind; otherwise, I’ll be just sleep walking through the film. Sultan, at that point of time, though it was a great character for a girl to play, I didn’t see anything for me in that.”

In “Sanju,” Ranbir Kapoor gave his career one of its biggest hits. Kangana Ranaut was offered the part of Sanjay Dutt’s on-screen wife in this biographical drama film, which was based on his life. The actress apparently declined the offer, though.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Another chance for Kangana Ranaut to co-star with Salman Khan was squandered. The actress reportedly turned down the role of the lead woman in “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” before “Sultan.” It is unknown why she declined the position. Kareena Kapoor Khan was ultimately chosen by the producers to play the lead role, and the movie became a tremendous box office hit.

The Dirty Picture

The first option for this daring entertainer was Kangana Ranaut. Unfortunately, the actress rejected the film’s script because she did not recognise its potential.
