Dates Barfi Recipe: The holy month of Ramadan is going on. In this month, Muslims worship Allah and keep fast. It is very difficult to keep fast. In such a situation, it is necessary that your energy level should be fine, otherwise you may fall ill due to the problem of dehydration.

Actually, Iftar party is organized during fasting. In which many types of dishes are made. Dates are a treasure of minerals. It contains many types of nutrients which give you energy from inside.

Many types of dishes are made from dates. One of them is Khajoor ki Barfi. It is very easy to make and it is so tasty to eat that the hand of the eater will not stop. If you are also organizing an Iftar party, then definitely keep Date Barfi in the menu. Let’s know the method of making date barfi.

Date Barfi Recipe: Ingredients

Dates – half kg
Coconut – 1 cup (grated)
Cashew – 15-16 (finely chopped)
Almonds – 15-16 (finely chopped)
Pistachios-151-6 (finely chopped)
Cardamom powder – one teaspoon
Milk – 1 kg
Khoya 250 grams
Ghee – half bowl

Recipe

To make dates barfi, first separate all the seeds of dates.
Now cut it into small pieces and keep it aside.
Now soak these chopped pieces in milk and leave them for 2 hours.
When the dates swell well in milk, make a paste of it.
After this, put a non stick pan on the gas and put some ghee in it.
After this, after the ghee is hot, add date paste and sugar to it.
Now cook it stirring continuously till it stops sticking to the pan.
Now add milk and khoya to it, mix well and stir well.
Then add all the dry fruits like almonds, pistachios and cashews in the last.
Now mix dry fruits also well.
After this add cardamom powder and dry coconut to it.
Now mix all these things well, and turn off the gas.
Now grease a plate with ghee and spread this mixture in it.
You put chopped dry fruits on top.
After this leave the barfi to set, when it is well set then cut it into your desired shape.
Now serve this tasty and healthy khajur ki barfi to your guests.
