The Embassy and the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka together with the Consuls of Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and the Sri Lanka Tea Board organised a series of events to commemorate the 75th Independence of Sri Lanka in Austria from February 4-14.
The events entailed promoting the destination, culture, traditional dance, cuisine and Ceylon tea. These events attracted a large number of people and gained wide publicity in the print and electronic media in Austria and the accredited countries.
