New Delhi: Indigenous carmaker Tata Motors is working on the Tata Nexon facelift for 2024. The upcoming Nexon will be completely different from the current one, a new interior will also be seen in it. Nexon is an important product for the company. This car is sold a lot in India. This is the reason that Tata is working on a plan to bring its updated version to the Indian market. The upcoming car will get a facelift along with a bigger touchscreen.
At the front-end, the new Tata Motors design language will be seen on the Curvv with slim headlamps, while the rear will also likely get a light bar that will be connected to the LED tail-lamps. The front and rear will be reworked, the side profile will remain the same, along with a new design for the alloy wheels.
The new larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and new instrument cluster will be seen in the interior. It is expected that a 360 degree camera will also be seen in the upcoming Nexon, while the rear view camera can remain intact, the display can be better.
Changes will also be seen in the powertrain of the upcoming Nexon. It can get 1.2L turbo petrol which is seen in the company’s own curve. This engine will be more powerful than the current engine. Talking about the gearbox, the new Nexon could also ditch the AMT from its line-up and get an automatic DCT gearbox.
While the next few years are going to be a busy one for Tata Motors, the Nexon will debut in 2024.
