The Business School, Sri Lanka’s first educational institution created to maximize the potential of digital entrepreneurs, recently won a Gold Award in national level service sector at Industrial Excellence Awards 2022 organized by the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI). This gala event was held in Colombo with President Ranil Wickremesinghe as the chief guest. The Business School had most recently won a South Asian Business Excellence (SABE) award, which was their most recent honor. Nuwan Jayakody, who came up with the basic concept to build the institute, was the creator of the Business School. The school was founded in 2017 by Dulendra Herath and Thushara Dissanayake with just two students. This school has expanded to become a sizable organization that enrolls more than 400 students each month.
