A combined operation mounted by the Navy and the STF led to the apprehension of a suspect with about 10kg of Kerala cannabis and a motorcycle in Wattakachchi, Kilinochchi, on February 6 night.
The coordinated search operation was mounted by the Naval Deployment Vettalakeni in the Northern Naval Command with the STF in the Wattakachchi area.
The recovery of Kerala cannabis was made after interrogating a person who was suspiciously roaming in a paddy field in the area.
