Selfiee box office collection Day 4: On Monday, February 27, the box office for Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s Selfie dropped dramatically. Despite having two huge performers in lead roles, the film made less than Rs 2 crore in India on Monday. Selfiee debuted in theatres on February 24 and had a lukewarm reception at the box office. Driving License, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu, is the official remake of Selfiee.

Despite the presence of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi in the cast, Selfiee failed to impress the public. During its first weekend, the film grossed Rs 10 crore. The film is expected to have generated Rs 1.90 crore in India on its fourth day at the box office (nett).

About the Film

Selfiee hit theatres on February 24. The film’s plot revolves around Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar, who wants to obtain a new driver’s licence from an RTO officer. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding causes a battle of words between the two. It finally escalates into a feud in front of the entire country. Selfiee is produced by Star Studios in collaboration with Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames, and Cape Of Good Films. Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta, and Listin Stephen produce. Selfiee also stars Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha in addition to Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Driving Licence, which was released in 2019 and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
