Commissioner General of Elections, Saman Sri Rathnayake, yesterday announced that the postal voting for the 2023 local government election had been postponed, until further notice.
The postal voting was scheduled for February 22, 23, 24 and 28.Rathnayake said the decision had been taken as the Government Printer had not supplied the required ballot papers, for postal voting, on time.New dates for postal voting would be announced in due course, Rathnayake said.
