A Plastic waste was collected recently at the Pottuvil Point Beach under the Plastic Free Ocean Project by Arugam Bay Clean Sri Lanka. It was initiated by the UK CEFAS, Coast Conservation Department, Pottuvill, Kottukal Fisheries Society, Youth Federation and Dream Garden Hotel guests under the guidance of Senior Marine Scientist Dr. David Sivyer, Fisheries Scientist Dr. Peter Randall and Marine Scientist Charlotte Reeve.
