MP Lasantha Alagiyawanna has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) today (24 February). He replaced SJB MP Kabir Hashim as the COPA Chairman.
Lasantha Alagiyawanna is the state minister of transport and a member of the governing Podu Jana Peramuna Party
