Minister of Education , Susil Premajayantha has stated that cabinet approval will be obtained within the next two weeks to digitise the school curriculum. Accordingly, school curriculum from Grade 06 to 13 will be updated from next year onwards based on this policy of digitising. He also stated that discussions are underway to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the school curriculum.
He made this statement at an awarding ceremony on ICT held in Colombo today (13 February).
