Uttar Pradesh: In an unfortunate incidents a car was dragged by the truck for 3 kilometers in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. The incident was caught on the camera and has gone viral on social media, where a 22-wheel container truck hit a car and then dragged it for around 3 kilometres as bystanders looked on in shock
Four people who were inside the car escaped, as they jumped out of it without suffering any injury. The truck driver, who was reported drunk, stopped the vehicle after police chased him and took him into custody.

While having a word with the media, SP Anirudh Kumar said, “Three people and a horse died in the accident.” The truck has been seized, though the driver is at large. “We are attempting to identify the perpetrator and will be booked once a police complaint is received.”
The same incident took place a few days ago in Merrut, where a truck struck a horse cart on Meerut’s Mansuri-Lawar Road and killed three people. The cart was returning from a wedding procession.
