New Delhi: Shalin Bhanot spent nearly five months in the Bigg Boss 16 house. In the reality show presented by Salman Khan, the actor experienced his own ups and downs. Bigg Boss 16 came to an end on February 12, 2023. Bhanot came in fifth place on BB 16. Shalin had an emotional reunion with his family members after exiting the reality show. Shalin went to the Kashi Vishwanath temple a few days after the event ended to seek Lord Shiva’s blessing. The actor prayed for a fresh start in his profession.

Shalin Bhanot posted a video from the temple to his Instagram account. The actor can be seen in the video begging for new beginnings in his profession. Ekta Kapoor has given him a project, and he is expected to meet with her soon. Having said that, Rohit Shetty has also chosen Shalin in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
Coming back to his temple visit, the former BB 16 contestant shared a glimpse of it on social media. The caption to his post read, “#Gratitude #ThankYouUniverse #KashiVishwanath (sic).”
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with a media portal, Shalin opened up on his BB 16 stint. he said, “I did it. I reached till the end finally. This morning something very spiritual happened, very unreal. It was a small thing but important to me. When I opened my suitcase today, I felt grateful that I was taking this out and nobody made me do it. Right now I am feeling very unreal, it is unbelievable. I feel like I have returned to earth from planet Bigg Boss.”
