Waltair Veerayya box office collection Day 7: Film sees a slight drop

New Delhi: Waltair Veerayya, starring , is already a blockbuster. Since its release, the picture has had a phenomenal run at the box office. Even though its box office revenues dropped slightly on Day 7, it still collected a lot of money. Waltair Veerayya’s first weekend collection was big, and it would be interesting to watch how it does on its second weekend. Waltair Veerayya hit theatres on January 13 during Pongal celebrations.

Waltair Veerayya, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, grossed Rs 33 crore on its first day. The film’s box office took a hit on Day 7, January 19, according to preliminary estimates. On Day 7, Waltair Veerayya collected roughly Rs 8 crore. As a result, the total amount collected is now Rs 118.85 crore. On January 19, the film had an overall Telugu occupancy of 31.13 percent.

About The Film

Bobby Kolli is the author and director of the action-drama. The movie debuts on January 13 and is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, and G K Mohan under the name of Mythri Movie Makers. Both the Telugu original and the Hindi dub will be released on the same day and have the same name. The screenplay was written by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy, although Bobby wrote the story and dialogue. Vineeth Potluri and Hari Mohana Krishna are also members of the writing staff.

In the trailer, Chiranjeevi plays a local don whose power is threatened by the arrival of Ravi Teja’s ACP Vikram Sagar, the city commissioner. Chiranjeevi performs at his customary high level in both serious and humorous parts. With his enormous aura, he adds that unique appeal to the character and story. The main asset is the confrontation between Ravi Teja and the cop, who is just as good.
