New Delhi: In a shameful incident that came to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, a father allegedly sexully assaulted her own 8-year-old daughter. Meanwhile, the father ran away as soon as the relatives gathered after hearing the girl screaming.
When the police investigated the matter, it found out that the victim’s step mother used to scold her for protesting. After which, the police registered a case and arrested the accused.
Rajesh Kumar Kesar, the accused father works as a cobbler near the railway gate. His wife had died a year ago. After which he got married for the second time. He has an eight-year-old daughter from his first wife.
Rajesh’s brother told that he sleeps inside the hut with his wife while, the daughter sleeps outside. On Monday night, the girl was screaming loudly, catching attention of the neighbours. After which, the victim’s uncle and aunt reached the spot when Rajesh ran away.
When the uncle asked the victim about the incident, the minor said that her father has done something wrong with her. She said that he used to misbehave also but her step mother used to scold her when objected the act.
On Wednesday, the victim’s guardians reached the police station with her. The innocent told the police about the rape. After which the police got the girl’s medical test done.
At the same time, a case was registered against the accused. The police arrested the accused and the step mother, taking both into custody. Police said that earlier also a POCSO case was registered against the accused in Haldwani. In which he has come out of jail a few days ago.
