Stock Market Opening: Share market crashes, Sensex tanks 860, Nifty 255 points

Share Market Update: Today is the third day of the fourth business week of the new year 2023. The Indian domestic stock market started trading with a decline on Wednesday amid strong cues from the international and US markets. Today both Sensex and Nifty are witnessing a big fall. Sensex and Nifty both opened in the red. Till the time of writing the news, a decline of 860 points has been registered in Sensex and 255 points in Nifty.

Asian markets mixed
Today, most of Asia is showing a mixed attitude. There is a boom in some stock markets, softness is being seen in many places. The Singapore Stock Exchange is at a loss of 0.67 per cent while Japan’s Nikkei is up by 0.45 per cent. At the same time, Taiwan’s market is up by 0.04 percent and South Korea’s Kospi is up by 1.29 percent.

On Wednesday (25 January 2023), the third day of this trading week, today the trading in the Indian stock market started with a red mark. Today, the BSE 30-share index Sensex opened at 60,835, down 144 points, while the NSE 50-share index Nifty opened 25 points lower at 18,093. open. But even after this, the period of decline in the market continued. Till the time of writing the news, a decline of 860 points has been registered in Sensex and 255 points in Nifty.

Earlier, on the last trading day Tuesday (24 January 2023) also the market registered a boom. The Sensex closed at 60,978, up 37 points, while the Nifty closed at 18,118, down 1 point.

Market condition today
At the beginning of this morning, trading started in about 2,444 companies on BSE in the beginning today. Out of which about 1,029 shares opened up and 1,294 declined. While the share rates of 121 companies remained stable. Whereas 73 stocks are trading at 52 weeks high and 29 stocks are trading at 52 weeks low.

Today’s rising and falling stocks
Talking about today’s rising shares, the shares of many companies including Bharti Airtel, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, Hindalco, Tata Motors are seeing a boom.

While looking at the falling shares, many companies including Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises, UltraTech Cement, Apollo Hospital, Dr. Reddy Lab are seeing a decline in their shares.

Rupee opens with a gain of 16 paise against the dollar
On Wednesday, the third day of the fourth trading week of this year, the rupee opened strongly against the dollar in the foreign exchange market on Wednesday. In early trade today, the rupee opened higher by 16 paise at Rs 81.56 against the dollar. On the other hand, on Tuesday, the rupee had declined by 33 paise to close at Rs 81.72 against the dollar on Tuesday.

This was the condition of the market last days
Tuesday (24 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,978 points with a jump of 37 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,118 points with a decline of 1 point (flat).
Monday (23 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,942 points with a gain of 320 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,119 points with a gain of 91 points.
Friday (20 January 2023): The Sensex closed at 60,621 points with a jump of 360 points. While the Nifty closed at 18,027 points with a gain of 50 points.
