New Delhi: Veteran car manufacturer Hyundai recently launched its sedan car 2023 Aura in the country with four trims E, S, SX and SX (O). The company has launched this stylish looking car with 1.2-L petrol engine as well as CNG option. Its direct competition in the domestic market is Maruti’s Suzuki Dzire CNG. Next we are going to compare both the cars.
Design
The new Dzire from Maruti Suzuki is similar to its current model without much change. The car gets features like touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control (ACC), engine start/stop system, multifunction steering wheel and power-adjustable side mirrors.
Talking about the new Hyundai Aura sedan, it has been presented with a very attractive look. The sedan gets a sloping roofline, sculpted bonnet, two-part blacked-out grille with mesh pattern, swept-back projector headlamps and inverted L-shaped LED daytime running lights.
Engine
Maruti’s new Suzuki Dzire is available with a factory fitted CNG kit with 1.2L K12M VVT petrol engine. Which gives maximum power of 71bhp and peak torque of 95Nm.
Coming to the new Hyundai Aura, a 1.2-L petrol engine is available in it. Which is capable of producing 83hp power and 113.8Nm torque on petrol. Also, the new Hyundai Aura E30 is capable of running on flex fuel.
Features
Both the 5-seater CNG cars get fabric upholstery, auto climate control (ACC), parking sensors, keyless entry, flat-bottom power steering wheel with Bluetooth supported infotainment console. On the other hand, when it comes to safety features, Hyundai Aura gets six and Maruti Suzuki Dzire only two airbags.
Price
The starting price of Hyundai Aura ranges from Rs. 6.3 lakhs to Rs. 8.87 lakhs for its CNG variant SX. On the other hand, the company sells Maruti Suzuki Dzire at a price ranging from Rs 6.24 lakh to Rs 9.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
Conclusion
Maruti Suzuki Dzire is ahead of Aura in terms of mileage. But the Aura looks ahead of the Dzire in terms of safety features, other features and looks.
