NRI to follow these steps to get Aadhaar card

Carry your valid Indian passport

You have the choice of submitting an additional genuine document or documents in addition to your passport as proof of your address and date of birth, according to UIDAI. The new Indian address must be submitted along with a current Proof of Address (PoA) that corresponds with the list of UIDAI-acceptable documents, though, if the address on your passport has changed.
