Incumbent President of the Students’ Union of the Peradeniya University and its former president who were temporarily suspended have been informed to leave the university premises, Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Terrence Madhujith said. These two students are not permitted to stay in the university hostel and they are required to obtain permission in advance from the university authorities prior to entering the university premises, he said.
These students will not be allowed to bear the offices in the students’ unions and the 14 students who were suspended have also been removed from the online learning portal, the Deputy Vice Chancellor said.
