At the 23rd edition of the Annual Journalism Awards for Excellence 2021 on Tuesday, organized by The Editors Guild of Sri Lanka in partnership with the Sri Lanka Press Institute, the award for Best Environment Reporter of the Year – Tamil stream was awarded to Marlin Marikkar, Associate Editor of the Thinakaran/Vaaramanjari. We regret that yesterday’s edition of our newspaper carried an incorrect name.
