Avatar 2 box office collection Day 7: The Way of Water in Avatar is a smashing hit. The movie earned a staggering Rs 40 crore at its Indian theatre debut. The cash registers have been ringing ever since. Daily earnings for the movie have been in the double digits. Avatar 2 is currently inching closer to joining the Rs 200 crore club in India. Particularly in South India, the movie is collecting records-breaking amounts of money. Avatar 2 broke the $100 billion barrier in just three days.

In its first week of release, the sci-fi epic was expected to earn Rs 200 crore but only managed to bring in Rs 193 crore, according to a Pinkvilla report.

The Indian box office for Avatar: The Way of Water got off to a fantastic start. On December 16, the James Cameron-directed movie brought in Rs. 40.50 crore. Avatar 2 now has the second-highest opening weekend in the Indian market, after only Avengers: Endgame (2019), which brought in Rs 53.10 crore on its first day. At the domestic box office, Avatar 2 is currently getting close to Rs 200 crore. Early trade indications indicate that on Day 6, December 21, they earned in double digits. It was able to generate Rs 13.50 crore in a single day, bringing the total revenue in India to Rs 193.30 crore.
