The Foreign Ministry has decided to immediately summon the SLBFE officer attached to the Sri Lankan Embassy in Oman, who was accused of aiding and abetting smugglers sending Sri Lankan women to Oman to work as prostitutes.
The Foreign Ministry has already informed the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau in this regard.The Foreign Employment Bureau has also conducted a preliminary investigation in this regard, which has also confirmed the related facts.
