An employee of a private security company who had been assigned to guard a housing complex in Narahenpita committed suicide on Tuesday (22).
The Narahenpita police say that the 45-year-old security officer, Galahitiya Withanage Gamini was a resident of Kihimbiya, Galle.
Police investigations have revealed that the deceased person had been separated from his wife since 2015 and he had been working in different areas. The police say that he is also addicted to alcohol.
