Primary classes in Delhi schools to remain closed until November 8 due to bad air quality

New Delhi: All Primary classes will be closed until November 8, as per a notification issued by Directorate of Education, Delhi Government.

Primary classes have been cancelled at Delhi Schools! Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated, November 4, 2022, that schools will be closed for pupils in grades KG to 5. For these students, Delhi’s schools won’t reopen until November 8.

All outdoor and sporting events for pupils in Classes 5 and up will be suspended until further notice. As Delhi’s AQI levels cross the “Severe” threshold, the Delhi CM makes the announcement.

The GRAP 4 procedures have also been implemented by the Delhi government. Accordingly, the administration has now decided to close all primary schools (KG to Class 5). Higher-class students would still attend school to take their classes.
