Now Indians no longer require Police Clearance certificate for Saudi Arabia

Saudi Visa: The Saudi Arabian embassy reportedly said on Thursday that Indian people will no longer be required to present a police clearance certificate in order to obtain a visa for travel there.

The decision has been made as part of efforts by the two countries to further bolster relations, according to a statement released by the Saudi Embassy.

“In view of the strong relations and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India, the Kingdom has decided to exempt the Indian nationals from submitting a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC),” the statement said.

It stated that the PCC would no longer be necessary for Indian nationals to obtain a visa in order to enter Saudi Arabia.

The almost two million Indian citizens who live peacefully in the Kingdom are valued, according to the Saudi Embassy.
