Newro Meat Products which has been in the business for over a decade won at the Lanka Business awards 2022 held recently at the Grand Oriental Hotel in Colombo. Director Sisira Kumara says he and his staff are highly satisfied with this award and vows to continue the quality of the product. He also considers this a landmark of the company and adds that this is an encouragement for the company.
The Newro Meat products (Pvt) Ltd is a chicken processing and marketing company in Sri Lanka and their products are marketed countrywide under the brand name of “NEWRO”. Sisira Kumara recalls how he started his business on a small scale in 1986 with 5000 layers. Sisira Kumara said these awards would be an encouragement for the growth of the company and thanked the organizing committee forthe selection of Newro Meat for this valuable award.
