Glen Maxwell meets with accident, to remain off-field for 3 months

New Delhi: Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has met with an accident and broken his leg. Due to this he will not be seen on the field for a long time. Due to this injury, Maxwell has also been ruled out of the ODI series against England starting next week.

He shared a video on his Instagram account‘s story as a reel. He was seen lying on a bed in a hospital ward. A medical staff was also seen in his reel while he was watching some cricket match.

The 34-year-old cricketer went to attend a friend’s birthday party on Saturday night. While he was returning back to his home he slipped and fell down. He was admitted to a hospital in Melbourne where he has undergone surgery. As per media reports, Maxwell will be away from the field for a month.

Maxwell remained out of form and did not perform. he was only able to score 118 runs in four innings. He accumulated this score with a strike rate of 161.64.
