The first flight of Edelweiss from Switzerland arrived at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last afternoon.
The airline operates direct flights between Zurich International Airport in Switzerland and Katunayake BIA in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, Edelweiss airline’s first flight KW 068 arrived at the Katunayake Airport from Zurich, Switzerland at 12.20 pm yesterday carrying 125 tourists and 15 flight crew. A group of officials from the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau welcomed this group. The airline operates flights between Zurich, Switzerland and Katunayake Airport, Sri Lanka once a week from today.
