CBSE ask schools to register for Aryabhaṭa Ganit Challenge from Class 8-10 students, details here

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has invited affiliated schools to note Classes 8-10 students for the mathematics competition Aryabhaṭa Ganit Challenge 2022.

Schools can apply through the official websites — cbse.nic.in — — cbseacademic.nic.in — The last date to apply for the same is on or before November 15, 5.30 pm. Schools are also informed that there is no application fee for the first stage.

This test will be held in two phases – a pen-and-paper test at the school level and a computer-based test at the national level.

The top three kids will then be registered by schools between November 28 and December 10 for a charge of Rs 900.

In this competition, these topics will be covered: Number Systems & Number Sense, Measurement, Geometry & Spatial Sense, Data Analysis & Probability, Algebra, Analytical, Creative and Abstract Thinking, Strategic thinking, Mathematisation, Bhartiya Ganit.

Both tiers of the test have a 60-minute time limit. There will be no negative marking, and objective questions worth a total of 40 points.
