Union Assurance provides essential medicine to Lady Ridgeway Hospital

Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s trailblazing Life Insurer, recently offered 100 Baby Bloodlines sets and 200 units of Sodium Bicarbonate to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital in Colombo, as part of project Hope. Employees of the Company generously contributed to this project to protect the children of the nation during these unprecedented times.

The Chief People Officer of Union Assurance, Imtiyaz Aniff thanked the Company’s staff for supporting the Hope project. He noted that their corporate culture fosters a caring attitude that permeates all levels of the organisation. “This is a noble initiative, and will help save the lives of vulnerable children in these challenging times,” he added.

Dr. J. Wijesooriya, the Director of Lady Ridgeway Hospital, stated, “We are thankful to Union Assurance for their efforts in providing essential medicine, which helped the hospital in this crucial juncture. This contribution strengthens our health system and ensures our hospital is ready to receive all patients.”
