Two boys, aged 16 and 18 were killed on the spot after the motorbike they were riding collided with a car in the Pudukuduirippu area in Batticaloa yesterday.
“Three boys had been on the motorbike at the time of the accident,” Police said. The other boy is currently receiving treatment at the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital. Police revealed that neither the rider nor the pillion riders had been wearing helmets. Kattankudy Police are investigating.
