Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard and Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine reunite with just about the whole original “Star Trek: The Next Generation” crew for Season 3 of “Picard,” including William Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Geordi LaForge (Levar Burton), Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) and a surprisingly pacifist Worf (Michael Dorn), as seen in the full trailer released at NYCC. Perhaps even more surprising is how Brent Spiner is returning to the franchise as a familiar face, but not Data’s. Another unexpected treat is the return of Daniel Davis as hologram Professor Moriarty, so they’re digging deep into the original series for this one! New is Amanda Plummer’s Vadic as the season’s unhinged new big bad, commanding a terrifying new ship with a vendetta against the Federation. The final season of “Star Trek: Picard” kicks off February 16 on Paramount+.
