Repairs to President’s House to cost Rs. 364 Mn

State Engineering Corporation Chairman Ratnasiri Kalupahana said yesterday (30) that it is estimated that the repair work of the President’s House at Colombo Fort which was  damaged due to the recent takeover by the activists, will cost about Rs. 364 million.

He said that an experienced team of the State Engineering Corporation had studied the damage.

The Chairman said that State Engineering Corporation is a very reputable organization which is known to carry out the related work and has a competent team for that purpose. The damaged doors and windows, key plates, carpets, curtains, television sets, remote control devices, etc. are also included in the estimate.
