New Delhi: Brahmastra’s lead star Ranbir Kapoor is frustrated with the film’s promotions. He is done with Brahmastra’s director Ayan Mukerjee too. Yes, you read it write but there is a twist. On Wednesday, Ayan Mukerjee posted a funny video, where Ranbir Kapoor is seen lamenting about the continuous promotions of the film.
Well, Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva is all set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from November 4. And this is Ayan’s unique style of promoting the film. In the video, Ranbir is seen in a white shirt and blue jeans, talking to someone. He is heard saying, “Nahi bhai, ho gaya. I am done. I am done with Brahmastra promotions, I am done with Ayan Mukerji. Just because Brahmastra is coming on Disney+ Hotstar, does it mean get back promotions? More promotions, more promotions, more, more, more. Itna toh Alia ne film mein ‘Shiva Shiva’ nahi bola hoga (Alia might have not said Shiva as many times as promotions in the film).”

Ranbir’s lamentations come to a sudden stop when he receives a call from Ayan. He demands that Ranbir gets involved in the promotions.
Agreeing to his demands, Ranbir disconnects and begins beating himself up with a pillow kept aside.
Sharing the video, Ayan Mukerjee captioned, “Ranbir, I hope you’re reading this from your secret Instagram account —- You have 2 more parts to go on Brahmāstra so you better be nice to me !!! #brahmastraondisneyplushotstar #nov4th.”

Meanwhile, Ayan Mukerji told The Indian Express that he plans to release the second part by 2025 December. The first part took a long time to release. The film made an announcement before the credentials, about the second part Brahmastra Part 2: Dev.
