New Delhi: Fans were waiting for a long time to see Akshay Kumar’s film Ram Setu which is over now. The film has been released in theaters on 25 October and earned continuously at the box office. At the same time, the box office collection of the second day of this film has come out, which surprised the fans.

Akshay Kumar’s film earned more than 15.25 crores on the first day, and according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “#RamSetu declines on Day 2, but stays in double digits… Holds well at mass circuits, but major centres remain low… Biz on Thu and Fri [working days] crucial, before the weekend, begins… Tue 15.25 cr, Wed 11.40 cr. Total: ₹ 26.65 cr. #India biz (sic).”
At the beginning of the year, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj and finally Raksha Bandhan were released, but these films also did not show anything special. Makers expected ‘Ram Setu’ would do more business on the second day than on the first day but it did not happen.
About Ram Setu
The director of the film is Abhishek Sharma. Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharucha are shown with Akshay. The action-adventure drama Ram Setu centres on an archaeologist who is determining if Ram Setu is a myth or a real place.
The epic Ramayana claims that Ram Setu is a bridge that the deity Rama’s army of Vanara constructed to cross across to Lanka and rescue his wife Sita, who had been kidnapped by Lanka’s Rakshasa king Ravana. Co-producing the movie are Lyca Productions, Amazon Prime Video, Abundantia Entertainment, and Akshay’s Cape of Good Films.
