Ola S1 vs Vida V1: Price, features and much more

New Delhi: Ro MotoCorp recently launched its first electric scooter Vida V1. The company has launched it in two variants. This scooter is capable of covering a distance of up to 163 km on a single charge. It is expected that it can compete with Ola S1 in the Indian market. Features of both the scooters

Keeping in mind the safety of the rider, both the Ola S1 and Vida V1 scooters get disc brakes on both the wheels. Also a Combine Braking System (CBS), cruise control along with three riding modes are also available for a better riding experience. Apart from this, both the scooters use inverted forks at the front and mono-shock suspension at the rear.

Design

First, let’s talk about Hero’s electric scooter Vida V1 in which the company has used a 10-inch rear black alloy wheel and a 12-inch front alloy wheel. Now talking about Ola S1 Pro, the company has prepared the electric scooter on a tubular frame. The design of the scooter includes an indicator-mounted front apron, a smiley-shaped headlight, single-piece seat and flat footboard. At the same time, this scooter also has an all-LED lighting setup for lighting, arrow shaped side mirrors, Bluetooth connectivity and a 7-inch TFT digital instrumental console.

Power pack and range

Coming to the power pack, the Ola S1 Pro is powered by a 5.5 kW electric motor paired with a 4kWh IP67-rated battery pack. On a single charge, this electric scooter is capable of covering a distance of up to 181 km, and has a top speed of 116 kmph. At the same time, in the Vida V1 Pro electric scooter, the company has used a 3.94kWh removable battery with a single electric motor. Which can be covered up to 163 km on a single charge.

Price

The price of Hero Electric Vida V1 Plus has been kept at Rs 1.45 lakh and Vida V1 Pro at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of Ola S1 Pro has been kept at Rs 1.30 lakh and the price of S1 has been kept at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
