Indian army soldier martyred in anti-terrorist operation in J&K

New Delhi: The army has paid floral tribute to the valiant rifleman Kulbushan Manta who has made a supreme sacrifice for the nation. He lost his life during an anti-terrorist operation in the village of Washran located in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Suffered a gunshot wound

Late Rifleman Kulbushan Manta suffered from a gunshot wound. Post enduring the gunshot wound he was evacuated through a helicopter. He was admitted to 92, Base Hospital in Srinagar. The brave-heart took his last breath at 12.30 pm on October 27, 2022.

Died at the age of 27

Late Rifleman Kulbushan Manta was twenty seven years old. He had joined the army in 2014. He belonged to Village Gaunth of Kupvi (ST) Tehsil located in Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh. The brave-heart is survived by his wife.

Mortal remains being taken for last rites

The mortal remains of Late Rifleman Kulbushan Manta are being taken for last rites to his native place at Village Gaunth, Post office Manjholi, Tehsil Kupvi in district Shimla of Himachal Pradesh.

Survived by wife

He will be laid to rest with full military honor. In this time of grief, the army stands in solidarity with the grieving family members of Late Rifleman Kulbushan Manta. The army remains committed to the dignity and well-being of the surviving family of the soldier.
