The Panadura Police arrested a person who attempted to enter the Panadura Court premises with a 180 ml bottle of arrack concealed in his waist yesterday.
The 57-year-old suspect is a resident of Morawinna, Panadura. Police said a Sergeant and a Civil Security Officer who were on duty at the main gate of the court, had apprehended the suspect during a body search before he entered the Court premises. The suspect was to be produced before the Panadura Magistrate yester evening.
