Water levels in power plant-related reservoirs are up

With the rains, the generation of hydroelectric power has increased by now.
 
Ceylon Electricity Board mentioned that Lakshapana and Norton Reservoirs have started discharging due to heavy rains.
 
The Electricity Board stated that the water levels in several reservoirs related to power plants are also rising.
 
At present, 58% of the daily electricity generation is done by hydropower.
