Warehouse reduced to ashes in Sapugaskanda

A warehouse of a private company in Sapugaskanda manufacturing hangers was reduced to ashes following a fire that erupted yesterday afternoon.

The fire broke out while the employees were working but no one was injured. It is said that all the manufactured hangers that were stored in the finished product warehouse were caught in the fire and the damage has not been estimated yet.

The reason for the fire has not been discovered yet.Immediately after receiving the news about the fire, the Sapugaskanda Police, the Colombo Fire Brigade, and the Biyagama Board of Investment fire brigade arrived and prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding areas.
