Foreign media reports that the International Monetary Fund will make an official announcement today (01) regarding the granting of emergency loan relief to Sri Lanka.
Earlier, foreign media reported that a preliminary agreement has been reached between Sri Lanka and the International Monetary Fund. The amount expected by Sri Lanka from the International Monetary Fund is three billion dollars.
Meanwhile, the Asian Development Bank has approved an amount of 200 million dollars as emergency financial assistance to Sri Lanka.
