New Delhi: The final of the ICC World Test Championship 2023 will be played at The Oval. Apart from this, the final of the 2025 World Test Championship will be held at Lord’s.
The ICC has put the final seal on both these places on Wednesday. Earlier, the final of the 2021 World Test Championship was played in Southampton. This match was played between India and New Zealand, in which New Zealand became the champion.

ICC Chief Executive Officer Geoff Allardyce said in press conference that they are delighted to confirm the two prestigious grounds.
“We are delighted to host next year’s ICC World Test Championship final at The Oval, which has such a rich heritage and wonderful atmosphere, which is ideal for such an important fixture on the calendar (weather and time).”
The final match of the World Test Championship will be played between the top two teams in the points table. This match can be held in June 2023. Currently, in the World Test Championship 2023 points table, Australia’s team is currently in the first place, while South Africa is at number two.
