Few people arrested for damaging property of people's representatives

Three suspects have been arrested for setting fire to the Hokandara house and property of MP Wimal Weerawansa. They are residents of Hokandara area. They have been arrested by the officers of the Western Province South Crime Division.
A suspect involved in the incident of damaging the house and property of Member of Parliament Premanath C Dolawatta in Upper Bomiriya area has also been arrested. He is a resident of Bomiriya area.
A suspect involved in the incident of burning and destroying the house of Member of Parliament Sumit Udukumbura was also arrested yesterday. The MP’s house which was located in Bogahalanda Hiriala area of ​​Gokarella police domain was also completely destroyed. A wanted suspect was arrested in Malsiripura area.
Three suspects who were wanted in connection with attacking and setting fire to the house of Parliamentarian Mrs. Kokila Harshani Gunawardena and stealing the official uniforms of the police officers who were on duty were also arrested. They were arrested by the Mirigama police in the Mirigama area.
Meanwhile, a suspect who attacked the house of Kuliapitiya Regional Council member Mr. Sarath Idunil Kumaratunga and damaged the property has also been arrested. That was in Kirindava area.
Two suspects who were wanted for attacking and setting fire to the house of Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha member Mrs. Anusha Dilrukshi were also arrested last night. It is in Suriyapaluwa and Kandaliyadda Paluwa areas. The police have also recovered stolen police uniforms and parts of official uniforms from them.
